Photoshop Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note – These instructions are for slightly older versions of Photoshop and, as they say, there’s a million different ways to skin a cat, but they should work for most people. Please feel free to email our Webmaster <\/a>if you need help<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open your image in Photoshop\u00a0and navigate to\u00a0Image>Image Size<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Make sure that Constrain Proportions (PS2019 uses a padlock) and Resample Image fields\u00a0are checked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Enter\u00a0200 into the Resolution field (Pixels\/Inch)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Enter 10 (inches) in either Height or Width field\u00a0depending which dimension of your image is larger.\u00a0 The other dimension will automatically fill in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Click OK<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Your image is now sized at 2000 pixels along the longest edge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. File > Save As, and provide a name such that you do not overwrite your original.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Please take note of the size of the file that is produced – it needs to be less than 1MB, but closer to 500K is better.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Lightroom Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select your image while in Library Mode. Select Export <\/em>(lower left corner).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Export Location – Choose a location<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. File Naming – Check Rename To<\/em> and select Custom Name<\/em>. Enter your First_Last Name into Custom Text.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. File Settings – Select these settings: Image Format – JPEG, Quality – 75, Color Space – sRGB, Limit File Size To: 500K (or something less than1MB)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Image Sizing – Check Resize to Fit and select Long Edge. Type 2000 in the box below and select \u201cpixels\u201d. Resolution is irrelevant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Output Sharpening – Tick Sharpen For<\/em> and select Screen<\/em>. Select Standard <\/em>for Amount<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Metadata – Select Copyright and Contact Info Only<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
