Seminars by Experts

The first Tuesday of each month, the membership meets to share their photography, discuss technical and aesthetic concerns and to attend a presentation conducted by an expert in the photography and related businesses. These guest speakers provide a seasoned look at areas such as wildlife, floral, portrait and still life photography, as well as journalism, marketing and exhibition print making. The images they show and the expertise they offer create a springboard for member exploration of their own work.  See this page for details about the next monthly meeting.

The Answer Booth

For 30 minutes before and after each monthly meeting, we have experts on hand to answer any photography-related questions you might have (cameras, equipment, software, etc).

Mini Clinics

All members of the Brentwood Photography Group are entitled to attend the monthly Mini Clinic meetings held the second Thursday evening of each month at the Brentwood United Methodist Church. There is no additional fee to attend. Meetings focus on a variety of topics.  See details for the next mini-clinic on this page.

Lunch Bunch

Lunch Bunch is a monthly lunch meeting, led by Dick Dougall, with the focus on members getting to know each other and having constructive critiques and discussions about their images.  It is held the third Monday of each month at the Logan’s in Cool Springs.  The start time is 11 am.

Please email Dick if you plan to join either event, so the appropriate reservation size can be made.

Photography Exhibits

During the year, members have the opportunity to showcase their work in various exhibits around the state and southeast region.  See this page for details on current exhibits.

Outings and Activities

During the year, the club organizes photo outings and activities. Some of these are education-based field trips led by a recognized authority in photography. Other outings are just an opportunity for members to get together and shoot a specific subject.  Sites have included downtown Nashville, Centennial Park, abandoned factories, balloon festivals, and classic auto shows.  See this page for more information on upcoming outings.
